EA and Public Affairs Assistant to Founder and CEO of MPC
Location: London / remotely (Flexible working options available)
About the Role
This is a key role providing administrative and strategic support to the CEO, ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day operations and enabling the company’s continued expansion. The role is available on a freelance / day-rate basis and would suit a very bright, ambitious graduate with strong initiative and a passion for the arts and a desire to grow with the company. This flexibility also makes it ideal for a more experienced professional.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-level administrative support to the CEO, ensuring efficiency in daily operations.
- Manage the CEO’s diary, schedule meetings, and coordinate travel arrangements.
- Monitor and prioritise emails, draft correspondence, and manage key communications.
- Assist with financial administration, including invoicing, expenses, and budget tracking.
- Conduct research and compile reports for both internal strategy and client projects.
- Prepare presentations, proposals, and briefing materials using Excel, PowerPoint
- Manage the social media profile (primarily Linkedin) and update the MPC website.
- Support client engagement by coordinating meetings, follow-ups, and tracking deliverables.
- Contribute to business development activities, including identifying new opportunities
- Ensure smooth office operations, including managing documents, databases, and internal processes.
Liaise with key stakeholders, including clients, government officials, sponsors, and partners, representing MPC professionally. - Support event planning and coordination, including attending relevant industry events on behalf of the CEO.
Who We’re Looking For
- A highly organised and proactive individual with good judgement and excellent admin skills.
- A creative problem-solver who can work independently and who has lots of initiative.
- Strong writing skills, with the ability to draft professional communications and reports.
- Confident in using Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and Apple products
- Passionate about the arts, creative industries, public affairs and / or sponsorship.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
- Experience managing multiple stakeholders and working in a client-facing role is a plus.
- A team player with a sense of fun and enthusiasm for supporting the company’s growth.

Time commitment: approximately two days per week initially
Day rate: £180 - £225, depending on experience
